This notice covers personal information you send us through confabula.ai, for example when you register interest in the pilot. Students’ and teachers’ use of the Confabula app is covered by a separate notice that schools receive before any pupil uses it.

Who we are

Confabula is a product of Practice2Learn. We are the controller for information you send through this website. Contact: [email protected].

What we collect and why

When you register interest we collect your name, role, email address, school and postcode (if you give them), languages, exam board, approximate number of students, your message, and whether you’d like product updates. We use this to reply to you and to arrange and run the pilot. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (responding to enquiries and running the pilot) and, for product updates, your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who processes it for us

The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Enquiries are stored in our customer database (Zoho CRM, UK data centre) and a notification is emailed to us through Resend. If those are briefly unavailable, the enquiry is held in our own database on Cloudflare for up to 30 days. These providers act on our instructions under data processing terms.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for up to two years after our last contact with you, then delete them, unless you become a customer, when the school agreement sets the terms.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent for updates, by emailing [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

This website doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. The Confabula app uses essential sign-in cookies only.
